Hope Explored
And we’re off!
The first Hope Explored took place tonight at Duncan Road Church. Southampton. A couple of guests couldn’t make it but for the rest who came it was a good start. Please pray that those who attend will come to faith or be really assured in their faith.
What is Hope Explored?
Six hundred years before Jesus was born, a prophecy was made about him, that he would be called “Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”. The gospel of Luke, which is an account of Jesus’s life, explains how these prophecies came true, and that this is great news for all people.
All over the world millions of people find hope and help in knowing Jesus Christ. Hope Explored is a three-session series about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus that examines his extraordinary claims. Through teaching from Rico Tice and studies from Luke’s Gospel, Hope Explored shows how Jesus offers us a hope worth having, a hope that won’t disappoint us.
Session 1: March 18th
Session 2: March 25th
Session 3: April 1st

Today @ Speakers Corner.
Polish, Portuguese, Finish, Australian, German, Iranian, were just some of the nationalities of the people we chatted with today.
Lots of good conversations and lots of literature given out. Highlight of the day, a talk with a British man visiting London who was clueless regarding Jesus, the Bible,…well the Christian faith!
Pray that the booklet & DVD he took will be a help to him.

“Nothing calms a person faster than hearing his own ideas repeated back.” – Sandra DeLozier
Speakers Corner in London’s Hyde Park is the oldest free speech platform in the world. People won the right to speak in mass protests in the 1860s and early 1870s. Some people believe the tradition is connected to the right of the condemned to a last speech before being hung at the Tyburn gallows, a practice that stopped at the end of the 18th century. Every Sunday people from all sorts of convictions come to Hyde Park in the afternoon to spread their message or to have fun.
