Happy Christmas!
Happy Christmas from the Curley’s!
The Bible: 2 Corinthians chapter 8 verse 9:
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”
Christmas Openings!
From making appearances as Father Christmas, to speaking at School Carol Services for parents and pupils, to after dinner speaker, these varied openings all took part in one day last week! And in between these activities a chance to prepare a little bit more of my Sunday messages and Christmas themed programmes for the Carol Services that I have been invited to take. Great opportunities to share the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Now it’s one more day of office work and then Christmas holiday!
Thank you for your prayers and support throughout the past year – much appreciated!

Carols in the Centre
Mince pies were eaten, mulled wine was drunk and lots and lots of carols were song at the Locks Heath Shopping Centre Southampton.
Organised by the Western Wards Church Network Christians came together to share something of the message of Christmas with the many shoppers and invite them to the many activities taking part in the twelve Churches of the Fareham western Wards. The Warsash Brass Band accompanied the singing and helped to give the carols the gusto that they deserve!
In between Carols Clive Hobbs and Gordon Curley were able to link the Carols with short messages that further explained the wonder and meaning of this special occasion.
Food glorious food!
Food glorious food!
Plenty of pizza and good conversion at last nights ‘The Net’ inter-Church event for men.
Andrew Gainey shared concerning his life and faith and Ivor Cooper rounded the evening off with some relevant thoughts from the Bible. Although numbers attending were very low everyone who came seemed to enjoy it and we all left with enough pizza for lunch the next day!
