Today at Speakers Corner
A cracking day at Speakers Corner, Hyde Park, London, with some great conversations with people from Pakistan, USA, France, Portugal, Bulgaria and God even crossed my path with a trainee Russian pilot!
No arguments today, just one useful discussion after another, now why can’t it be like that all the time!

“Thirst was made for water; inquiry for truth.” — C.S. Lewis
.
Speakers Corner in London’s Hyde Park is the oldest free speech platform in the world. People won the right to speak in mass protests in the 1860s and early 1870s. Some people believe the tradition is connected to the right of the condemned to a last speech before being hung at the Tyburn gallows, a practice that stopped at the end of the 18th century. Every Sunday people from all sorts of convictions come to Hyde Park in the afternoon to spread their message or to have fun.

MM 2024 Thank you for your Prayerful support!
MM 2024 Thank you for your Prayerful support!
Praise God that we have seen a high response of people responding to the gospel. {lease remember 3 things about these missions:
1. Weeks of prayer from the believers in the city and villages has led to many people having been prepared by God to listeto and receive the message and I believe the mission has been especially fruitful because of that.
2. With the language and culture differences it is not always easy to get the bottom of how much people have understood, but as far as possible we have reported what took place.n
No one is claiming that all the people who reponded have been converted, that is why we call them ‘responders’ not converts.
3. Local pastors and missionaries have been present at every event collecting names, noting responses etc. The follow up will, for the most part, be thorough and many will come to a clear understanding and a conversion experience during the discipleship course.
I hope this summary and these comments are helpful. Other evangelists have been working in the area as well as myself and they are reporting people turning to Christ as well.
Thank you for your prayer support during the mission – it was much needed and appreciated!
John chapter 4 verse 37:
“Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true.”
Review Meetings
Well it;s almost all over for another year, today we have two review meetings.
10.00am Meeting with the Pastor’s.
1.00pm Team meeting and lunch.
The evenagelistic meetings are now concluded but the follow up work for the Pasots goes on! I am also encouraged that that the Spirit of God continues to work in the hearts of men, love the litttle parable of Jesus in Mark 4:26-29,
“Jesus said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”
