Jamie & Alfie
Good to hear from Alfie a man we met at Speakers Corner two weeks ago, sadly Alfie has many problems but also has a ‘wobbling’ Christian faith, after a good chat Jamie Broadey prayed with him in Hyde Park and the good news is Alfie has since booked himself into rehab as he tries to overcome his addiction.
Please pray that God bring other Christians into Alfie’s life!

Speakers’ Corner
On October 14th, 1855, a carpenter set up a soapbox in Hyde Park, near Marble Arch in London, and made a speech to onlookers complaining abut high food prices. Thus was born the tradition that became known as Speakers’ Corner, the place where free speech is exercised by anyone who wishes to.
166 years later the tradition carries on – looking forward today to supporting Christians on their soapboxes and engaging in some one-to-one evangelism
