Each day we will explore a European city (Gare du Nord in Paris, the busiest station in Europe, The Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden, Rome and its many amazing restaurants, the Swiss Alps, the distinctive shape of the Matterhorn & Hyde Park in London, the largest of four Royal Parks in the very heart of the city. as well as discovering some of the places that Jesus visited (Entering busy Jerusalem, the home where Jesus, God’s Son received special worship, The last supper, Mount Calvary & the garden tomb)
The Backpackers daily programme focuses on awesome accounts from the Gospel of Matthew.
What: Online Activities, Games, Songs, DVD’s, Crafts and lots more!
When: Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th April 2021

DATE FOR THE DIARY: ‘The Net’ (for Men) ONLINE Easter Special – Face-to-Face with ‘Bob the builder’
Speakers Corner in Hyde Park, London is a unique place, it is an area where open-air public speaking, debate, and discussion is permitted on any subject within the law. The topics can vary from the profound to the hilarious, and you will often find witty orators who can talk eloquently on important contemporary issues, with a pinch of humour.
The audience is free to join in too and the regular hecklers and supporters are part of what makes the atmosphere of the Corner so unique and interesting. Even if you do not feel like piping up yourself it is always interesting to listen in to what is being said around you.
Bob* is there most Sunday afternoons, he is often circled by a group of Muslims and it can feel quite intimidating, but that Bob seems to revel in it. Come and find out why ..
Bob will share about his faith, his experience of Speakers Corner and also a, ‘top ten things you should know about Islam’ and we will finish with Q&A.

Book Input!
Life continues to be quiet in lock down, we still have various preaching opportunities via Zoom & YouTube.
This week we are writing a chapter for a book on evangelism, our chapter is entitled. “The ‘how to’ of church-based evangelism” and the book will be published later this year.
A lot of work has and is going into it, we would value your prayers as we present our thoughts in this format and will let you know when the complete book is published.
